A Ugandan hatchery, run by people who farm

Peculiar Poultry Limited was incorporated in October 2025 and works out of Wakiso, Uganda. We hatch, raise and supply birds ourselves, which is the only reason we can answer for them.

What we actually do

We set and hatch eggs under supervision, vaccinate the chicks, start them on balanced feed, and pack them so they travel without piling up. We keep a laying flock for table eggs. And we answer the phone when a farmer’s birds are not doing what they expected.

We serve farmers, households, retailers and bulk buyers. Some take a hundred birds, some take considerably more, and the same batch records go on every box either way.

You can check what you were sold

Losing a batch is expensive and the cause is usually invisible by the time you notice. These three things are what let you trace it.

  • Vaccinated before they leave

Chicks are vaccinated and started on balanced feed before dispatch, and what they were given is recorded on the box.

  • Hatched under supervision

Eggs are set and hatched under proper supervision rather than bought in and resold, so we can answer for the birds we hand over.

  • Every box is traceable

Breed, hatch date, batch number, quantity and vaccinations are written on each box before it goes out. If something is wrong, it can be traced to a hatch.

Tell us the breed and the number

That is all we need to start. We will come back with the hatch date your birds can be ready on.
